Hello all, & welcome to my official blog page! My name is Sarah Michelle, I'm a native of Texas, & a mix of southern belle meets gypsy soul. And when I say 'gypsy soul' my mind immediately goes to Fleetwood Mac's song "Gypsy"; I'm a huge Fleetowood Mac fan! I'm a lover of all things girly: the color pink, peonies, pearls, makeup, clothes, shoes, being the hostess (I'm totally the 'Monica' for all my Friends fanatics out there), it's all about presentation!

To the very core of me, I'm an old soul; I love old shows like The Golden Girls, Who's the Boss, Designing Women, and much more. My family and friends mean the world to me, I've been blessed with a wonderful support system throughout my life. My style is quite eclectic; on one hand I love the rustic, farmhouse, country, shabby-chic theme, while the other hand loves all things classy and chic. So, you'll see a variety of photos of me, from down-home country girl style with my ice tea and lemon in a cute little mason jar, to a sleek all-black outfit dawning pearls and a red lip. Just depends on my mood for the day! Life's too short to stick with just one kind of style, right?

For those curious about my blog name, it fits me to a tee. I've always been a girly girl, and I've always loved dressing up, even when I go to the grocery store! You just never know who you'll run into. So, my family always teases me, even to this day. They always ask: "Why do you always have to get all dolled up?" I can't tell you how many times I hear this a day. I also love pearls. Pearls are a classic piece that will never go out of style. They remind me of Audrey Hepburn. So, there you have it: Doll up in Pearls!

Any who, on to the wheres & whys of my blog. I post a wide variety of things on my personal Facebook and Instagram pages, and the more I thought about it, I thought: "Why not have an official blog?" So, that being said, my blog will cover a wide variety of things, from fashion & beauty, DIY & home décor, health & wellness, products I love, Pinterest hits & misses, & much more. I'll also post photos of some of my findings from various stores I shop at to give you all a good sense of some of my favorite spots.
